What gives Manuvis the edge over our competitors? Manuvis collects machine state and/or production data directly from your production machines. Powerful, yet simple-to-use, Operator Control Stations (OCS) capture and store every machine, job, or quality-related event that occurs. Additionally, events such as planned/unplanned down time reasons, job setup steps, and quality defects can be assigned by the operator, through the OCS, using simple function keys.

Our competitors require your machine operators to either enter each machine stoppage into their software through either a PC located at each machine or to force operators to scan bar codes. Either of these approaches introduces variation and uncertainty into your data collection process. This variation and uncertainty will negatively affect your company’s decision-making abilities.

Secure access to data is another strong feature of Manuvis products. FactoryMRI® uses a simple web browser secured through your company’s network. User profiles are created and consequently limit access to information based upon your company’s security policies. Since our network resides separately from your company’s primary network, external security breaches are virtually impossible.

Additionally, Manuvis is multi-lingual, based upon a user’s profile. So, as a user logs into the system information is displayed in their language. Manuvis thinks globally, but supports localization.

For example, Manuvis is capable of communicating with human resource (HR) packages, including ERP, to update operator performance records. Our operator control stations may be located throughout your facilities, enabling workers to use their security access badges to log in and out. Managers may schedule each person’s tasks in priority. So, as the worker logs in they know immediately what their next task is and where they are required. These unique features will enable your company to manage its entire work force, redeploying people as circumstances evolve, and measure overall effectiveness.

Direct and indirect payroll hours are captured and securely-stored within Manuvis’ Historian database. The data may be used to generate pay checks internally or create a file to be sent to an outside payroll service company as our customer, Premier Manufacturing, is doing today.
